More info and DOWNLOAD link on the QCE users forum: https://forum.quickaccesspopup.com/showthread.php?tid=2884 For those who prefer to stick with the current stable version, this v2.3.2 release brings these improvements: - Allow for multiple selection in "Quick Paste" window (to paste or delete multiple clips at once) - when the window is open with the Win+Ctrl+` hotkey keeping it open after releasing Ctrl - or when user escapes the Quick Patse cycling with the Win escape key - Fix a bug preventing closing the "Quick Paste" and "History Search" windows when multiple items are selected - Refactor "Convert, Convert number base" to support hexadecimal numbers w/o "0x" prefix Version: 2.3.1 (2024-11-13) - In "Quick Paste" and "History Search" windows, display specific icons for clips containing 1) files and 2) rich text or HTML clips - Fix a display bug in Options, "Clipboard History" - Fix minors internal bugs Version: 2.3 (2024-11-06) Redesign of the "Quick Paste" and "History Search" windows - You can search and retrieve your past Clipboard clips in two similar windows: "History Search" and "Quick Paste windows". Each window contains the list of the most recent clips from your Clipboard history. But, if they are identical in appearance, their features differ and each window has its own advantages. - The distinction between the two windows is clarified below. - An "Help" link is added to the top right corner of both "History Search" and "Quick Paste" windows. - Recommended reading: https://clipboard.quickaccesspopup.com/features/#quick_paste History Search - Open the window from the QCE menu bar under "Clipboard, History Search" or press Ctrl+P. - Filter clips using the search box at the top of the window. - Select one or multiple clips using standard keyboard or mouse techniques. - Click a button at the bottom of the window or select an action from the context menu ("Paste", "Edit" or "Delete"). - Users can paste, edit, or delete MULTIPLE clips in this window (not in the "Quick Paste" window). Clips are pasted in the QCE editor. Quick Paste - From any application window, press Ctrl+` (backtick) to open the window with the most recent clip selected. - Without releasing Ctrl, press ` (backtick) again to cycle through older clips (called "Quick Paste cycling"). - Release the Ctrl key to exit Quick Paste cycling and paste the selected clip to the active application window. - Alternatively, press the Home key to filter clips using the search box. - Press the Win key to escape Quick Paste cycling and leave the window open after releasing the Ctrl key. - After exiting Quick Paste cycling, users can select any item and click a button or choose an action ("Paste", "Paste Text", "Edit" or "Delete") from the context menu. - Only one item can be selected in the "Quick Paste" window (see "History Search" above for selecting multiple clips). Quick Paste Hotkey variations - In "Options, Hotkeys", users can select the main hotkey (default: ` backtick). Three hotkey variations are available: 1) Ctrl+`: Opens the "Quick Paste" window and pastes the selected clip when Ctrl is released. 2) Shift+Ctrl+`: Opens the "Quick Paste" window and pastes the clip as Text. 3) Win+Ctrl+`: Opens the "Quick Paste" window and keeps it open after releasing Ctrl (exits Quick Paste cycling). - In "Options, Hotkeys", more information is provided about the "Quick Paste" hotkey variations with Shift (Paste as Text) and Win (Keep Open). Features new or removed - With the new approach described above, hotkey selection is simplified. Users cannot select a specific hotkey for "Quick Paste as Text" (it's always Shift + the main Quick Paste hotkey). - The multi-row selection feature from the previous release (v2.2.4) was removed from the "Quick Paste" window because it interfered with Quick Paste cycling. Multi-item selection is still available in the "History Search" window. - In "History Search", the context menu (right-click or Shift+F10) can be used to perform actions (edit, paste, or delete) on multiple clips. - In both "History Search" and "Quick Paste" windows, users can press Shift+F10 to open the context menu. - In "History Search" window, "Quick Paste" window and History menus, display a different icon for clips with multiple formats (text, HTML, RTF, etc.). - In "History Search", the "Paste Text" button has been removed (it was irrelevant because rich-text clips are always pasted to the QCE editor as text). - A bug related to line breaks in the separator inserted when pasting multiple clips has been fixed. Version: 2.2.4 (2024-10-09) - in "History Search / Quick Paste", support multiple selection (Shift + Click or Ctrl + Click) for deleting clips, editing clips, and pasting clips - add an option under "Options, Various", to set a text separator when editing or pasting multiple clips from the "Search / Quick Paste" window - new option under "Options, Clipboard History" to skip clip deletion confirmation - fix a bug in "Quick Paste" hotkey (by default Ctrl-`) when selecting an item in the list by repeating the hotkey see: https://clipboard.quickaccesspopup.com/features/#quick_paste
